Tommy Robinson’s Prison Privileges Scrapped After High-Risk Inmates Moved In

Robinson’s Regime Suspended at HMP Woodhill

Supporters of Tommy Robinson, the controversial figure whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, are raising fresh alarms about his treatment inside HMP Woodhill. They claim his daily prison routine has been abruptly withdrawn since the arrival of dangerous inmates transferred from HMP Frankland.

Robinson, held as a civil prisoner, has been locked in a bitter legal battle over his prison conditions. His team alleges he’s now being denied basic privileges because of heightened security measures linked to the arrival of inmates tied to extremist networks.

‘Jihadist Gang’ Inmates Take Over Separation Centre

A statement from Robinson’s official social media channels reveals that several inmates labelled as part of a “jihadist gang” have been moved from HMP Frankland — the same prison where Hashem Abedi, the brother of the Manchester Arena bomber, reportedly assaulted staff members — into Woodhill’s separation centre.

This transfer has reportedly led to the suspension of Tommy’s regime. Previously, he enjoyed access to exercise, phone calls, work duties, and visits. Now, all that’s gone.

“Now that some of these prisoners from the HMP Frankland jihad gang have been moved into the separation centre, Tommy doesn’t get a regime,” the statement said.

Legal Battle Intensifies Over Prison Treatment

The timing comes amid an ongoing legal fight between Robinson and the prison authorities. Governor Nicola Marfleet testified in court that Robinson had access to a daily regime including several hours out of his cell, social visits, work assignments, and family contact.

But Robinson’s camp disputes this, claiming he’s now stuck in isolation. Phone calls have been cut off and he’s been relegated to cleaning duties, rather than the painting and decorating tasks he previously had. They accuse the governor of misleading the court by painting Robinson’s conditions as “a chalet at Butlins.”

No Official Response Yet from Ministry of Justice

As of Monday afternoon, neither the Ministry of Justice nor HMP Woodhill have commented on the latest allegations. Given the sensitive nature of the situation—including the involvement of inmates linked to terror offences—officials may be holding back details for security reasons.

Prison Safety Sparks Wider Debate

This saga has thrown the spotlight back on prison segregation policies and how different inmate risks are handled in high-security jails. Critics argue that civil prisoners like Robinson should not suffer because of violent offenders. Others insist that safety and control must come first.
