Plainclothes Cops Strike Near Tonbridge Train Station

On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, Darren West, 44, was stopped and searched by plainclothes officers from Tonbridge’s Community Policing Team near the town’s train station.

More Than 20 Deals of Cocaine Seized

Following further investigations, including searches at his Clare Avenue home, police uncovered over 20 street deals of Class A cocaine and two mobile phones linked to drug supply.

Arrest Made and Charges Filed

West was arrested and charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply and involvement in the supply of Class A drugs. He was remanded in custody and is due in Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, February 16.
