Police in Tower Hamlets are hunting for witnesses after the shocking death of 21-year-old Teddi Baker. She was found unconscious at a home on Stainsby Road, E14, on Thursday, 8 February, and tragically died at the scene despite emergency efforts.
Fight Bonfire: Night Before Teddi’s Death
Detectives are piecing together a violent altercation that took place the night before Teddi’s death. On 7 February, a scuffle involving up to six people, including Teddi, erupted near Dod Street by the alley to Limehouse Cut canal. Police are desperate to hear from anyone who saw what went down.
Investigation Underway – One Arrest Made
A woman in her 20s has been arrested on suspicion of murder but was later released on police bail as the inquiry deepens. A post-mortem was done on 9 February, but results are still pending. Authorities are treating the case seriously and want the public’s help.
