Marcus Decker and Morgan Trowland are set to stand trial at Basildon Crown Court on Monday 27 March at 10:30am. The pair have already spent 158 days behind bars on remand after scaling the QEII Bridge last November. The duo are Just Stop Oil supporters demanding the government stop all new fossil fuel licensing and project approvals in the UK.
Animal Rebellion Fans Charged Over Palace Protest
Meanwhile, five Animal Rebellion activists face Southwark Crown Court on the same morning, charged with criminal damage exceeding £5,000. The charges stem from their protest actions at Buckingham Palace in August 2021.
