Three Crooks Jailed for Malware Money Heist

Three fraudsters who used sneaky malware to swipe tens of thousands of pounds from victims nationwide have been locked up. The Birmingham Crown Court handed down sentences on Friday, 29 November.

Usman Khan Bags Four and a Half Years

Usman Khan, 32, from Pershore Road, Birmingham, was convicted of conspiracy to defraud and multiple counts of hiding and moving illegally gained cash. He pled guilty and got a hefty four years and six months behind bars.

Accomplices Also Sentenced

  • Abhay Singh, 33, from Crown Mews, Abingdon, admitted conspiracy to launder stolen funds. He was sentenced to three years and four months in prison.
  • Naveed Pasha, 56, of Wyndhurst Road, Birmingham, also pleaded guilty to similar offences. His sentence was two years suspended for one year and nine months.

Their cyber scam hit victims hard but justice has now caught up with them.
