Gun and Drugs Dealer Dean Broadway Locked Up for Seven Years
Dean Broadway, 40, from Paulsgrove, is behind bars after a police swoop uncovered a deadly cocktail of guns and Class A drugs at his home.
Firearm and Cocaine Found in Raid
On April 13, 2016, officers raided Broadway’s Mablethorpe Road address. They seized a section five firearm and ammunition. Broadway admitted possession and was handed five years for the gun charge, plus two more years for the ammo—sentences to run back-to-back.
But that’s not all. Broadway was also nailed for possessing cocaine with intent to supply from September 2015. He picked up a further two-year stretch, also to run consecutively.
Police Issue Warning to Public
PC John Middleton said: “Mr Broadway received a lengthy prison sentence for possessing a dangerous weapon. The level of threat, risk and harm to the community could have been significant had we not located this firearm and the ammunition with it.
“Police take any offence in relation to firearms seriously and I would recommend any member of the public to report any firearms related incidents to the police.”
