Deceptive Duo Steal £75k from Vulnerable Man Over Five Years
Two “deceptive” crooks have pleaded guilty to ripping off a vulnerable man for £75,000 over five long years. The pair appeared at Hull Crown Court last Monday (18 December) to own up to multiple offences.
Graham Bradley and Ann Park Confess to Theft and Criminal Property Charges
Graham Bradley, 57, and Ann Park, 56, both from Woodlands Road, Hull, admitted several charges. Bradley pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing criminal property and two counts of transferring it. Park pleaded guilty to possessing criminal property and two counts of theft, plus two counts of transferring criminal property.
Park abused her position of trust by taking control of the victim’s finances, stealing money for herself, then sharing the cash haul with Bradley.
Sentencing Set for January 26 at Hull Crown Court
The pair are set for sentencing on Friday, 26 January. Police vow tough justice for targeting the vulnerable.
“Park and Bradley are both extremely ‘deceptive’ individuals who conned a vulnerable man out of a large amount of money,” said officer Helen Shackleton.
“Park, especially, was supposed to care for the victim. She claimed the money was a gift for her ‘help,’ but it was clear she found a vulnerable target to line her own pockets — and Bradley’s.”
“We hope this case sends a strong message: those who prey on the vulnerable will be caught and punished.”
