Two Men Charged Over Stolen Whitstable Car Chase
A high-speed chase ended with two men arrested over a stolen car believed to have been taken from Whitstable.
Police Stop Suspected Stolen Vehicle in Abbeywood
On Wednesday 24 April 2019, Met Police officers in Abbeywood halted a vehicle after a short pursuit. The car is suspected to have been stolen from Kent.
Michael Hay and Wayne Farrell Face Multiple Charges
- Michael Hay, 28, from Bromley, and Wayne Farrell, 41, from Swanley, were both arrested.
- Kent Police confirmed the vehicle was taken from a Whitstable property on 18 April 2019.
- Both men charged with affray and vehicle theft.
- Hay also faces charges of dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving without a licence, and no insurance.
Court Appearances and Bail
Hay and Farrell appeared via video link at Medway Magistrates Court on 27 April 2019. They have been bailed to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 28 May 2019.
