Teens Busted for Street Assault and Robbery in Chatham
On the afternoon of 21 March, Medway Community Policing Team sprung into action after reports of a violent assault on Chatham High Street.
Quick Arrests Made
Kent Police were called at around 1:25pm after two youths attacked a man. By 1:50pm, officers had arrested two suspects, aged 16 and 17, on suspicion of robbery.
Stolen Phone Recovered
During the arrest, the victim’s stolen mobile phone was recovered, adding weight to the robbery charge.
Police Ongoing Probe
The pair have been bailed until 14 April while police continue their investigations into the incident.
