Late-Night Assault Shakes Kent – Police Snare Suspects with Dog’s Help

Attack Sparks Early Morning Police Hunt

Kent Police were scrambled just before 3am on Monday, 20 December 2021, after a woman was reportedly assaulted. A swift response saw police dog Coty called in to track the suspects’ scent.

Suspects Caught Near Watermead Close

Coty led officers straight to the pair near Watermead Close. A woman in her 30s and a man in his 20s were arrested on suspicion of assault but have since been released on police bail as enquiries continue.

Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Officers urge anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam or doorbell footage from the area, to come forward. Your help could prove vital to the investigation.
