Two Men Nabbed in City Centre Drug Bust
Plainclothes officers swooped on two men in the city centre after spotting suspicious behaviour on Tuesday afternoon, 25 June 2024.
The pair were detained, searched, and arrested over drugs offences. Suspected Class A drugs and cash were seized at the scene.
Kent Police Crack Down on County Lines Crime
Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team quickly charged the men with multiple offences, aiming to choke the drug trade profits.
- Joseph Bademi, 20, from Roseberry Street, Rotherhithe, faces charges including supply of crack cocaine and heroin, possession with intent to supply, and possession of criminal property.
- Devante Adjetey, 18, from Chalkwell Road, Sittingbourne, is charged with the same, plus possession of cannabis.
Court Date Set
Both Bademi and Adjetey are set to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 27 June.
