Two Teens Charged with Murder in Tonbridge Stabbing

Two boys have been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of 20-year-old Thomas Waugh in Tonbridge.

Teens to Face Court This Week

The 16-year-old from Tonbridge and a 17-year-old from Coulsdon are set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 24. The charges were given the green light by the Crown Prosecution Service after the attack early on Friday, August 19, 2022.

Robbery Charges Added

Both suspects also face accusations of attempting to rob Mr. Waugh and carrying out another robbery against two men who were with him before the stabbing.

Investigation Ongoing—Police Seek Witnesses

Two others arrested—a 16-year-old and a 47-year-old woman—have been released on bail as inquiries continue.
