Sheffield Stabbing Victim Named as Kamran Khan
A 28-year-old man who died after a stabbing incident in Sheffield has been named as Kamran Khan. The tragic event unfolded early Sunday morning on Club Garden Road, Sharrow.
Found with Serious Injuries
Mr Khan was discovered outside a property at around 2.15am with severe stab wounds to his chest. Despite being rushed to hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. His family is now receiving support from specially trained officers.
Suspect in Custody
A 30-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody following a court hearing where magistrates approved further detention. Police investigations continue as detectives work to uncover the full circumstances behind the killing.
Police Reassure Public After Fatal Stabbing
“I understand that incidents of this nature cause great concern for local residents,” said Detective Inspector Scott Harrison. “This was an isolated incident and there is no risk to the wider community. We will maintain an increased police presence in the area throughout the week to reassure the public.”
