Tragedy in Loughton: Teenager Killed in Hit-and-Run Outside School
A shocking fatal collision in Loughton, Essex has left a 12-year-old boy dead and several others injured. The horrifying crash happened on Monday 2 December, just after 3.20pm, outside Debden Park High School on Wallingale Road.
Armed Police Arrest Suspect in Murder Probe
Officers swooped on a 51-year-old man from Loughton, arresting him on suspicion of murder and multiple related charges. He now faces six counts of attempted murder, causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop, and driving without insurance.

Several Pupils Hurt, One Boy Dies
Police say a silver Ford KA was involved in the collision. The vehicle fled the scene, leaving chaos behind.
- A 12-year-old boy was rushed to hospital but sadly died.
- Other injured include two 15-year-old boys, a 13-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl, and a 53-year-old woman.
- None of the additional injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“This has been a truly shocking incident and my deepest sympathies are with all those involved,” said Detective Chief Inspector Rob Kirby of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate. “I would like to thank the public who have come forward with information and those who gave medical assistance at the scene.”
