Police Hunt Kirkby Sex Offender on the Run
Merseyside Police are on the lookout for Christopher Spelman, 62, who’s wanted on recall to prison. Originally from Kirkby, Spelman was jailed for seven years in March 2014 for indecent assault.
Spelman Skips Back to Prison
He was freed on licence in December 2016 but quickly broke the rules. Officers recalled him to jail on 9 December after he failed to comply with his licence conditions. Despite a major manhunt, Spelman remains at large.
What He Looks Like & Where He Might Be
- White male, 5ft 8in, medium build
- Blue eyes, short brown hair
- Last spotted in the Folkestone area of KENT" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kent early 2017
- Known to frequent campsites and work in hospitality
