Woman attacked in Swindon street brawl – Police hunt witnesses
Assault rocks Eldene neighbourhood
Wiltshire Police are on the case after a woman was seriously hurt in an assault in Swindon’s Eldene area. The attack happened in the Stubsmead neighbourhood on July 10, between 4:15 pm and 5:30 pm. The victim suffered injuries to her neck and chest.
Man intervened during the attack
Reports reveal a man tried to step in during the violent scuffle. Police are keen to speak with him as they piece together what happened.
Suspect arrested but now on bail
Officers arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of common assault. He has since been released on bail while inquiries carry on at pace.
