Silver Citroen Fails to Stop, Sparks Police Chase in Wyndham Road
At 3.20pm on Monday 24 April 2023, police spotted a suspicious silver Citroen Picasso cruising Wyndham Road. Officers ordered the car to stop – but it didn’t listen.
Short Pursuit Ends in Albany Road with Multiple Arrests
The chase lasted only moments before the vehicle screeched to a halt in Albany Road. Cops arrested a man and a woman on the spot, then later detained two more men.
Police have since bailed the woman and two men, but the third man remains in custody as the investigation barrels on.
Dangerous Driving and Collisions Under Investigation
“The car chased by patrols is alleged to have been driven dangerously and collided with other vehicles before stopping,” said PC Andrew Day.
“We urge anyone who saw what happened to get in touch with our appeal line.”
