Bricks and Helmets Fly in Rochester McDonald’s Brawl

Chaos erupted at 10.30pm on Saturday, April 16, 2022, in a McDonald’s car park on Commercial Road, Rochester. Three men in their 20s clashed with a large gang of teenage boys in a violent punch-up.

Teen Thugs Use Brick and Motorcycle Helmet in Attack

Shockingly, one teen hurled a brick at a man, while another bashed a victim with a motorcycle helmet. The three men suffered serious facial injuries, and one was hurt so badly on the leg they needed hospital treatment.

Two Teens Arrested, Police Hunt More Witnesses

Police have arrested two boys, aged 14 and 16, on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. Both have been released on bail pending further enquiries until May 14.

Officers have sifted through CCTV footage and spoken to some witnesses, but believe others with crucial information have yet to come forward.
