The twisted scheme exploded in September 2024 during a caravan holiday. Berry and his accomplice Steven Thomas launched an armed attack on Christopher Mills, hoping to make it look like suicide. But Mills resisted, forcing the attackers to flee and triggering a massive police manhunt.
