Woman Stabbed in Stirling Late Saturday Night

Police Scotland launched an investigation after a 21-year-old woman was stabbed on King Street, Stirling, just after 8.20pm on Saturday, 3 August.

The victim was rushed to Forth Valley Royal Hospital. Thankfully, her injury is not considered life-threatening.

Police Hunt Suspect as Enquiries Continue

No other injuries were reported at the scene. Officers are actively following up leads to find the man responsible for the attack.

Inspector Pleads for Facts, Not Rumours

Inspector Phil McIntosh warned: “We are aware of speculation and false information circulating on social media regarding this incident. Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I urge people not to add to this speculation online.”

He added: “We recognise the impact this incident has had locally and are making every effort to identify the man involved. Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting reference 3563 of 3 August, 2024.”
