Young Woman, 21, Dies After Horror Crash in Sutton Coldfield
A 21-year-old woman has tragically died after being hit by a car in Sutton Coldfield late on Friday night. The shocking incident sparked a police probe and led to the arrest of two men.

West Midlands Police rushed to Brassington Avenue just before midnight after a vehicle struck two women. Despite paramedics’ desperate efforts, one woman died at the scene. The other, also in her early 20s, suffered a leg injury but is expected to survive.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. They remain in custody as detectives dig deeper into the collision.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the woman who died at this time. We are continuing our enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone who was driving near the scene or in the streets nearby before or after the collision happened. Any dashcam or doorbell footage you have would really help our investigation.”
