Teen Tragically Stabbed to Death in Leeds

Detectives have named the heartbreaking victim found stabbed in Leeds as 16-year-old Chloe Watson Dransfield from Gomersal. Chloe was discovered unconscious on Kennerleigh Avenue, Austhorpe, early Saturday and later died in hospital.

Fifth Suspect Arrested in Murder Hunt

A 17-year-old boy is the latest to be arrested on suspicion of murder, raising the total to five suspects now in custody. The others include two women aged 18, a 19-year-old man, and another 17-year-old boy — all from Leeds — who remain held by police.

Family Pays Heartbreaking Tribute to “Beautiful Princess” Chloe

Chloe’s family is devastated. Her mother broke down in a touching tribute:

“My beautiful princess Chloe. I cannot put into words how I feel that you are not here with me. You are my life, my world, my best friend. I cannot live without you – I need you. You are stunning, confident, loyal, honest and my family-oriented princess. When you walk into any room it lights up with your bubbly personality. There’s a big hole in my heart that can never be filled. Your two sisters and big brother will always love and miss you to infinity. You will always and forever be in our hearts.”

Other family members echoed the pain, describing Chloe as “beautiful” with a “cheeky personality” who “embraced life with happiness.”

Police Keep Up Pressure as Investigation Continues

Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle, leading the probe, said:

“Our thoughts remain with Chloe’s family at this incredibly difficult time. Our specially trained officers continue to provide them with support. Our investigation is ongoing and the five arrested suspects remain in custody as we work to establish the full circumstances of this appalling incident.”
