Police Scotland and the Scottish SPCA launched an investigation after the animal was found with multiple stab wounds. 1 District Wildlife Protection confirmed it had died from those injuries.

Teenager Arrested Over Savage Attack

On Friday, a police spokesperson revealed a 13-year-old boy has been charged over the hedgehog’s death. He now faces wildlife crime allegations and is reported to the Scottish Children’s Reporters Administration.
