Major Raid Hits Sandown
Three properties in Sandown, Isle of Wight, were raided in a high-profile police crackdown. The swoop, carried out by the West Midlands Regional Organised Crime Unit with Hampshire Constabulary’s help, led to two arrests on money laundering suspicions.
Fairway Holiday Park Targeted
The operation kicked off just before 1pm on Tuesday with a raid at Fairway Holiday Park. Officers arrested a 29-year-old man suspected of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and conspiracy to supply firearms.
Further Searches and Arrests
Following the initial raid, police searched a home on Avenue Road and a business premise on High Street. A 57-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were arrested at the Avenue Road address on suspicion of money laundering.
All Remain in Custody
All three suspects remain in police custody for questioning as investigations continue.
