Kosovo Man Arrested at Luton Over Islamist Terror Probe
A man flying in from Kosovo was hauled off a Luton flight and detained on Wednesday, June 7, under tough anti-terror laws. The arrest, linked to Islamism, saw him taken straight to a Bedfordshire police station.
Arrest Under TACT 2000 Schedule 7
Police stopped the suspect on arrival at Luton Airport under Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act 2000. After questioning, he was released on bail pending further investigation, due back in early July.
Watford Home Raided in Terror Inquiry
The probe led officers to search a residential property in Watford. Although all raids are complete, detectives continue to probe the case.
Police have yet to reveal further details as the investigation unfolds.
