Police Hunt Tall Stranger Chatting Up Schoolgirls in West Kent

Mysterious Man Spotted Approaching Schoolgirls

At around 3.45pm on Wednesday, March 1, a member of the public reported an unknown man talking to several unaccompanied schoolgirls on Linden Park Road.

Similar Incident Just Two Days Later

Then on Friday, March 3, just after 3.15pm, a parent raised the alarm after a man reportedly approached a child on Saunders Road and even touched her arm.

The child quickly moved away and ran back to her parent, who was walking a short distance behind.

The Suspect Description

The suspect is described as:

  • White male, over six feet tall
  • Dark blonde hair styled in ‘curtains’
  • Wearing a black hooded jumper with hood up
  • Dark jeans and white trainers
  • Spoke with a British accent
  • Estimated age between 30 and 40

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage

Investigating officer PC Jack Kinkade from West Kent’s Vulnerability Investigation Team urged anyone with information to come forward.

“Following initial enquiries and CCTV review, the victim has helped create a computer-generated image of the suspect. We want to hear from anyone who recognises this man or was in the area at the time and hasn’t yet spoken with the police. We understand these incidents may worry parents and residents but police are conducting a thorough investigation.”

Residents living near either location who have CCTV or drivers with dashcam footage from the area at the time are asked to check their recordings for anything relevant.
