Drug-fuelled driver caught red-handed at Pyecombe services
Cops catch man with coke and gear by his side
Officers from the Tactical Firearms Unit (TFU) stumbled upon a suspect parked at Pyecombe services. He was sat behind the wheel, keys in the ignition and the engine running.
Driver’s dodgy alibi doesn’t wash
The bloke tried to claim the car belonged to his brother. But cops ran both licences and quickly cracked the fib.
Cocaine, scales and burner phone found inside
Inside the car, officers uncovered two bags of cocaine, a burner phone, scales, and grip seal bags – classic tools of the drug trade.
Multiple charges as man faces the music
- Possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply
- Driving while disqualified
- Driving without valid insurance
- Drug-driving after failing a roadside DrugWipe test
The suspect was arrested and later released under investigation as police continue their enquiries.
