Man Stabbed in Oxford Street Brawl – Teen Held on Attempted Murder Charges

Violent Stabbing Rocks Lambourn Road

At around 7.55pm yesterday (9/11), a violent altercation broke out on Lambourn Road. A man in his thirties was stabbed multiple times—once in the chest and once in the leg. Fortunately, police say his injuries are not life-threatening. He remains in a stable condition in hospital.

18-Year-Old Arrested Amid Murder Probe

Officers wasted no time, arresting an 18-year-old man from Oxford on suspicion of attempted murder. He is currently held in police custody as the investigation continues.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Detective Inspector James Mather of Oxford CID made a public appeal:

“I am urging anyone who saw what happened to come forward. If you have CCTV or dash-cam footage from the area at the time, please check it – it could be crucial.”
