Fatal Hit-and-Run Shocker in Birmingham
A 54-year-old man was tragically killed after being struck by two cars at a busy junction in Birmingham – the first driver fled the scene, the second stayed.
Deadly Crash at Bagot Street and A38
The fatal collision happened just before 10pm last night at the junction of Bagot Street and the A38 heading out of Birmingham. Emergency services pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Arrest Made in Willenhall
A man, 32, was arrested shortly after at an address in Willenhall, Walsall. He faces suspicion of causing death by careless driving while under the influence of alcohol. He remains in custody this morning as police continue their probe.

- Multiple vehicles have been seized and numerous drivers interviewed.
- Specialist officers worked overnight to piece together what happened.
- PC Chris Ridge from West Midlands Police said: “The man’s family have been given the very sad news, and our thoughts are with them today.”
- He added: “We’re still trying to establish exactly what happened. Sadly, the man may have been hit by several vehicles, some drivers might not even realise they were involved.”
