Police Officer Hit by Car in Harlow – Suspect Arrested
Just before 12.30pm today, police tried to stop a car on First Avenue, Harlow. But the driver sped off – hitting an officer in the process.
Luckily, the officer’s injuries are not life-threatening. He was rushed to hospital and is receiving support from his colleagues.
Man Arrested Over Attempted Murder and Dangerous Driving
After a thorough search, police arrested a 26-year-old local man. He’s now being questioned on suspicion of:
- Attempted murder
- Assaulting an emergency worker
- Failing to stop
- Dangerous driving
- Possession with intent to supply
