Woman Seriously Injured in Christmas Eve Attack on Isle of Wight
Police rushed to a West Street home in Ryde on the Isle of Wight at around 10.20pm on Christmas Eve after reports a woman had been hurt.
The 42-year-old local woman was quickly taken to hospital and is still in a serious condition.
Man Held Over Attempted Murder
Officers arrested a 41-year-old man from Ryde on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in police custody as inquiries continue.
