A street on the Isle of Wight has been locked down after a man suffered serious head injuries in an early morning attack.
Man Hospitalised After Brutal Early Hours Assault
Police were called to 1 Road just after 4am following a violent altercation. A man was rushed to hospital with serious head wounds. The flat where the attack happened remains sealed off by police tape and is being guarded around the clock.
One Arrest Made as Investigation Intensifies
Officers arrested one suspect, now in custody at 1 Police Station for questioning. Forensic teams are set to comb the scene before the cordon is lifted.
Door-to-Door Enquiries Underway
Police are also conducting door-to-door interviews to gather more information from local residents as part of their ongoing investigation.
