Two Held After Late-Night Assault in Ryde
Two men were arrested in Ryde on the Isle of Wight following a shocking unprovoked attack late on Wednesday night (April 24).
Quick Police Response on the Scene
Just after 11pm, officers were alerted by a member of the public about the assault. Hampshire Constabulary’s response and patrol units quickly arrived, detaining and searching the suspects on the spot.
Suspects in Custody, Victim’s Condition Unknown
Both suspects have been taken into custody at Newport Police station and are due to be interviewed later. The extent of the victim’s injuries remains unclear at this stage.
