Man Arrested in Scotland Over Murder of Wife Found at Leeds Home

Mark Barrott, 54, was arrested by Police Scotland in Elgin at around 4.30am today. He is suspected of murdering his wife, Eileen Barrott, 50, who was discovered dead at their home in Naburn Fold, Whinmoor, last Sunday.
Back to West Yorkshire for Questioning
Barrott will be flown back to West Yorkshire to face detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team. The investigation is in full swing as officers piece together what happened.
