Teen Thieves Nab White Electric Bike in Gillingham
A white electric bike was snatched by two teenage boys from a car park on Copenhagen Road, Gillingham at around 4.15pm on Monday, 28 March 2022.
Bike Spotted and Recovered on Gillingham High Street
Police on patrol spotted the stolen bike being ridden by the same two teens on Gillingham High Street the afternoon of Tuesday, 12 April.
Suspecting it was stolen, officers seized the bike for further investigation at the station.
Owner ID’d and Bike Returned
Quick police checks identified the bike’s rightful owner. The electric bike was returned on Wednesday, 13 April.
Teenagers Arrested as Investigation Continues
The two teenage boys were arrested and taken into custody while police continue their enquiries.
