Man Seriously Injured in Brutal Early-Morning Fight in Sneinton
Police raced to Sneinton Boulevard after a 1.15 a.m. call on Saturday, January 14, following reports of a man badly hurt in a violent brawl inside a home.
Arrest Made After Violent Attack
Officers found the 27-year-old victim with serious head and shoulder injuries. He was rushed to hospital, where his condition remains critical. A 35-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in custody as police continue their probe.
Police Reassure Local Community
This incident has left one man in a serious condition in hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries,” said Detective Sergeant Lee Cattell of Nottinghamshire Police.
“Our officers arrived swiftly, gave first aid before paramedics took over, and transported the victim to hospital.”
“We believe all involved know each other, so there’s no wider threat to the community. The investigation is ongoing, and we urge anyone with information or CCTV footage to get in touch.”
