Police officers on patrol near Canterbury have caught a suspected fuel thief in the act.
Suspicious Vehicle Pursued and Stopped in Bridge
On the morning of Friday, July 1, 2022, officers spotted a dodgy car in the Barham area. They gave chase, ending the pursuit when the vehicle stopped in nearby Bridge.
Local Man Arrested and Fuel Containers Seized
A 30-year-old man from Canterbury was arrested at the scene. Police also confiscated several plastic containers believed to be used for storing stolen fuel.
