Teen Girl Dies After Crash on Great Western Road
Sophie Geddes, just 16, was hit by a grey Ford Focus on Great Western Road near Garscadden Road South at around 7.45pm last Saturday. Emergency crews rushed her to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, but tragically she later died.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
On Monday, cops launched a fresh appeal for witnesses. Sergeant Grant MacIver said: “We are appealing to drivers or pedestrians who were in the area at the time to get in touch.”
Dashcam Footage Could Crack Case
Sergeant MacIver added: “We are especially keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage as this could be very helpful to our investigation.”
