Stolen Ford Focus Snatched from Crematorium
At 1.50pm on Wednesday 2 March 2022, officers got a tip-off that a Ford Focus had been nabbed from a crematorium on Maidstone Road.
High-Speed Chase Hits Watling Street and Dartford
By 2.22pm, patrols spotted the stolen motor on a slip road to the A2 Watling Street near Gravesend. Cops flagged it down, but the driver slammed the accelerator instead of the brakes.
The chase roared on into Dartford, ending near Baldwyn’s Park, Bexley – where the rogue Ford was finally brought to a safe stop.
16-Year-Old Busted for Multiple Offences

- Driving under the influence of drink or drugs
- Failing to stop when ordered
- Dangerous driving
- Refusing a breath test
A 16-year-old from Chatham was arrested at the scene and later bailed until 17 March, as inquiries continue.
