Triple Murder Horror Shakes Bourne End
Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit has launched a full murder probe after three people were found dead in a Bourne End home.
Officers rushed to a property in Spring Gardens at around 9.55pm on April 19 following reports of a disturbance. Inside, they discovered the bodies of three individuals and clear signs of a serious assault.
Victims Identified: Known to Each Other
The victims include a man and a woman in their sixties from Bourne End, and a man in his fifties from nearby Hazlemere. All three were known to one another.
Detective Superintendent Kevin Brown said: “We have launched a murder investigation after the discovery of three people deceased within the property. The next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Our thoughts remain with them at this most difficult time.”
Police Seek Witnesses Amid Targeted Attack
Brown added: “This is a very complex enquiry, and it appears to be a targeted attack. We are not looking for anyone else in connection with it.”
Authorities have appealed for anyone who heard or saw anything unusual near Orchard House or Spring Gardens between 5pm and 10pm on April 19 to come forward. Witnesses should call 101, quoting reference 2037 of 19/4/2022.
Hefty Police Presence to Stay
A police scene watch is set to remain in place for several days, potentially disrupting local residents. Officers thanked the community for their patience and warned of an increased police presence in the area.
“If you have any concerns, please speak to one of our uniformed officers,” Detective Superintendent Brown urged.
