Puppy Dumped Alive in Plastic Carrier on Steeple Ashton Road

The RSPCA were alerted at around 2:30pm on Monday, February 15, after a member of the public found a poor dog abandoned on Edington Road, Steeple Ashton. The tan and white female puppy was left inside a plastic animal carrier – and officials fear she was still alive when dumped.

Foul Play Suspected in Heartbreaking Discovery

RSPCA Inspector Steph Daly revealed the grim details: “It’s unclear when she was dumped or how long she’s been dead, but we’re urging anyone who recognises her or knows where she came from to come forward.”

She added, “The carrier contained faeces, which suggests she sadly died trapped inside. A vet thinks she was a Jack Russell cross, about six weeks old.”

Community Urged to Help Find Puppy’s Owner

It’s utterly shocking to think someone could toss a helpless pup out like rubbish and leave her to die by the roadside. The RSPCA are appealing for any information to crack this case.
