Police Hunt Man After PCSO Julia James Murder

Kent Police have released an image of a man they want to question in connection with the murder of PCSO Julia James. The individual was seen in the Aylesham area on Wednesday 28 April 2021 — the day after Julia was found dead.

Julia, 53, was discovered with severe head injuries next to Akholt Wood in Snowdown around 4pm on Tuesday 27 April. She had been working from home before taking her Jack Russell, Toby, for a walk along Aylesham Road.

Police Appeal to Public for Information

“We firmly believe he has information that could help this investigation and we urge him to come forward,” said Assistant Chief Constable Tom Richards.

“If you recognise this man or know anything about the day Julia died, please contact us. Perhaps he lives near you, works with you, or visits your local shop.”

Officers urge anyone who knows this man or has any CCTV, dashcam footage, or other information to come forward immediately. Contact Kent Police on 0800 0514 526 or submit details online at mipp.police.uk.
