Teen Thug Snatches Woman’s Phone in Queens Street Flats
Police are hunting a boy caught on CCTV after a brutal phone snatch left a woman injured in Queens Street.
Attack in Communal Area
The shocking robbery took place around 6.18pm on Wednesday, December 28. A 22-year-old woman was waiting for a lift in the communal area of her flat block when a gang of five males barged in.
One of the group asked her for the time – then snatched her mobile, ripping it from her hand and leaving her finger bleeding. The gang quickly fled the scene.
CCTV Released – Police Want to Talk to This Boy
Now police have released CCTV images of a boy they want to trace as part of their investigation.
“This was a distressing incident for the victim with the robbery taking place in the communal area of her home,” said PC Sam Richardson.
“Force was used to snatch the phone out of her hand, and she was left with a bleeding finger. If you know the person in the images, we urge you to get in touch immediately.”
