Man Stoned to Death in Eynsford – Police Launch Appeal
Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a man was brutally stoned to death in Eynsford.
Disturbance at Lullingstone Castle Grounds
kent.police.uk" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="Kent Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Kent Police were called to a disturbance at the grounds of Lullingstone Castle at 5.21pm on Thursday, 28 May 2020. Officers and paramedics found a man in his 60s who was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s believed the victim was involved in an altercation with two boys or teenagers near a lake before the fatal attack.
Witnesses Urgently Needed
Detectives want anyone who was near the lake between 12pm and 7pm that day to come forward. This includes dog walkers, anglers, golfers, joggers, and cyclists.
They are especially keen to speak to anyone who saw two young people in the area or who can provide video footage from vehicles travelling along Castle Road or Shoreham Road.
