Police Appeal as Woman Assaulted on Tunbridge Wells Bus

Police have released CCTV footage of a man who could hold vital clues in a disturbing incident on a bus in Tunbridge Wells.

Woman Approached, Then Attacked

At around 9.15pm on 9 May 2019, a woman was travelling on the number seven bus near St John’s Road. A man tried to sit beside her and start a conversation. Feeling uneasy, the woman pressed the stop button to get off.

As she passed the man to exit, he reportedly assaulted her.

PC Katie Hazard, from the West Kent Vulnerable Investigation Team, said: “We believe this man may hold information which can assist our investigation. I would urge members of the public who recognise him, or who may have any information about the incident, to contact us.”
