Knife-Wielding Robber Hits Coral Bookies in Hook

Police are hunting a knife-carrying thug who robbed Coral bookmakers on Station Road, Hook. The brazen raid happened between 9.25pm and 9.35pm on Monday, May 2.

£780 Stolen in Armed Heist

A masked man demanded cash from a 30-year-old shop worker at the counter, threatening with a knife. He grabbed around £780 before fleeing towards the nearby 1 supermarket.

Suspect on the Run – CCTV Released

The suspect was spotted wearing a black Nike hooded top and trousers, a balaclava, trainers, and carrying an orange bag. Police have now released a CCTV image in a bid to track down the crook.

Call for Witnesses

Detective Constable Mark Ogburn from Aldershot CID said: “This is a rare incident for Hook, but we need anyone with info to come forward. Were you near Station Road around that time? Maybe in a pub or shop? Did you see a man in black acting suspiciously?”
