A disturbing video has surfaced showing a man in a wheelchair being punched outside the popular BSB bar in Bristol’s waterfront district last Friday. Social media users have been left horrified, calling the attack “the most shocking thing I’ve ever seen.”
Brutal Blow Throws Victim Out of Wheelchair
The clip captures a man in a white T-shirt approaching the man in the wheelchair before a thug suddenly lands a heavy punch to his face. The victim is thrown backwards, landing flat on his back in his chair. The attacker then walks away, leaving bystanders stunned. Eyewitnesses, including bouncers, stand nearby but no immediate intervention is seen.
Outrage Erupts on Social Media
- Professional boxer Anthony Fowler tweeted: “Wtf just when you think you’ve seen it all, some s***house punched someone in a wheelchair.”
- Another commenter blasted: “That is lower than a snake’s belly, pure s***house behaviour, I hope he gets what he deserves.”

Police Launch Investigation, Appeal for Witnesses
Avon and Somerset Police have opened an investigation into the incident. Inspector Adam Dolling said:
“The video has been widely circulated and viewed, and it is critical that we identify the people in the footage. We believe it happened near the BSB bar on the Waterfront, and we’re conducting inquiries at the venue and surrounding areas.”
“We’d like to hear from anyone with information as soon as possible. Please call 101 quoting reference number 5223064944.”
“CCTV has been collected from around the bar, and we estimate the incident occurred shortly after 1.30 a.m. on Friday. We are making further efforts to identify the victim and urge anyone with details to come forward.”
