Five-Year-Old Girl Seriously Injured in Beccles Crash – Police Urgently Seek Witnesses
Terrifying Crash on Banham Road
Suffolk Police have launched an urgent appeal after a five-year-old girl was seriously hurt in a road traffic collision on Banham Road, Beccles. The incident happened on Friday, 20 June 2025, at around 4pm.
The young victim was treated at the scene before being rushed to James Paget Hospital with a fractured leg. Thankfully, she has since been discharged and returned home.
Man Arrested Over Suspected Drink Driving
- A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol following the crash.
- He was taken into custody for questioning but later released pending further investigations.
