Body Found in Rochester: Police Confirm Death of Missing Surrey Man
Tragic Discovery Near St Margaret’s Street
Kent Police were called to a scene near St Margaret’s Street, Rochester, at around 7.30pm on Sunday, 1 August 2021. Officers found the body of a man, who was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Identification and Investigation Underway
Formal ID has not yet been completed, but next of kin have been informed that the body is believed to be a 25-year-old man from Surrey who went missing in Rochester on Saturday, 31 July.
No Suspicion of Foul Play
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious. A report is being prepared for the coroner as investigations continue.
