Teen Hospitalised After Late-Night Brawl in Barking

A 14-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with a facial injury following a disturbance in Barking last Thursday night.

Police and Ambulance Rush to Scene

The Metropolitan Police were called to Station Parade at 9.11pm on 7 August after reports of trouble involving a group. London Ambulance Service (LAS) arrived shortly after, treating the injured teenager at the scene before taking him to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.

13-Year-Old Girl Arrested Over Assault

A 13-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of assault at the scene. She has since been released on bail as police continue their enquiries.

“We were called at 9.20pm last night (7 August) to reports of a person injured in Station Parade, Barking. We sent an ambulance crew to the scene. We treated a teenager at the scene and took him to hospital,” said a London Ambulance Service spokesperson.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward. Call police on 101 quoting reference CAD 7958/07August.
